This event our largest social and fund-raising event of the year so don’t miss it. The evening will include a FREE dinner, a silent auction and the always-entertaining LIVE auction.
All church members and friends are encouraged to offer/donate goods and services to the auction. Examples of past popular items include Christmas cakes, theatre or concert tickets and new handmade items. Examples of services include themed dinner parties (Austrian fare, Mexican fiesta, etc), technology assistance and gardening. The possibilities are endless.
This year’s auction coordinators are Dave Rohe and Mary Mason. Feel free to contact them via the form below to discuss your auction ideas or to make your donation. If you don’t contact them, they will contact you!
Other ways you can help:
- Attend the auction and make purchases. For catering purposes, a sign-up sheet will be circulated during Notices on Sunday mornings or you can RSVP via the form below.
- Assist with the catering for the dinner. Viv has kindly agreed to again organize the dinner for the auction, but she would love a couple of other folks to help her out the day before (Friday 27 October) and the day of the auction (Saturday 28 October). If you can help Viv please let us know via the form below.
- Help with Set-up or Clean-up on Auction Night. The tables and chairs don’t magically appear. Can you come along about 90 minutes early and help transform the sanctuary into Auction Central? Or perhaps you prefer tidying up afterwards? Either way, we’ll need lots of help! Volunteer for set-up or clean-up via the form below.
