Hui Tanguru is the Māori name for February or the ninth month of the Māori lunar calendar. Lammas is the ancient Celtic holiday we celebrate at this time. The hot days of February are upon us and much of the earth is dry. Our circle will sing and move together, celebrating the bounty of what we’ve sown in our fields, in our hearts and in our lives this summer season. R
These Dances of Universal Peace blend body prayer, circle dance and chanting/singing sacred phrases from the world’s wisdom traditions. These transformative and joyful practices invoke an embodied sense of unity, presence and compassion. They connect deeply with our peaceful, vital essence within…

Sponsored by our Peace and Social justice committee.

Dances of Universal Peace combine community seasonal ritual with simple, joyful circle dances and songs/chants from various spiritual traditions, with the aim of creating a shared celebration and experience of love, harmony and beauty. We affirm our interconnection with each other and the web of life.
